Terms of Use for Pathfinder’s Academy

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the services provided by Pathfinder’s Academy. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which govern the relationship between you and Pathfinder’s Academy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

1. Our Services

We provide tutoring services in various subjects to students of different age groups. Our services may be delivered primarily online, as agreed between you and Pathfinder’s Academy. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any of our services at any time without notice.

        2.  Eligibility

By using our services, you represent that the student’s guardian is at least 18 years old and has the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 18 years old, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use our services.

        3.  Registration and Account

To use our services, you may be required to create an account and provide personal information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing information. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and to maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, and you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

        4.  Payments and Refunds

By using our services, you agree to pay the fees and charges associated with our tutoring services. As mentioned in our Registration page, payments can be made immediately after the planned tutoring 

Payment must be made in advance, and we may use third-party payment processors to process your payments. You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment processor.

        5.  Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a tutoring session by providing at least 24 hours' notice. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to attend a scheduled session, you may be charged a cancellation fee, as detailed in our cancellation policy.

        6.  Intellectual Property

All materials provided by us, including but not limited to study materials, lesson plans, and website content, are the intellectual property of Pathfinder’s Academy or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may use these materials for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our express written permission.

        7.  Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pathfinder’s Academy and its tutors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use our services. In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you for our services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

        8.  Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pathfinder’s Academy and its tutors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses

By using our services, we are not guaranteeing our students' admissions into Universities as well as exceptional grades in their academics. While we provide  support and resources, the performances of our students are reliant on their effort, motivation and determination.
